Step out with a powerful story of independence with the "Lawe" tote bag, a striking piece from our Story-Stitch series designed by top tattoo artists recognized for their cultural authenticity. For those who wish to learn about and appreciate Pacific traditions, this oversized carryall beautifully highlights the custom of storytelling through art. Masterfully illustrated by Hawaiian tattoo artist Megan Jones, the design showcases the stunning "Kaulele" bird motif—translating to "she who flies by her own wings"—to celebrate personal freedom and direction in life. Look closely at the exuberant linework of the lifting bird's wing, and you will discover intricate symbols representing protection, clear communication, safe returns, and the guiding bonds across generations. Handcrafted from heavy-duty black cotton canvas with a prominent genuine red leather accent stripe, the artwork is permanently etched into the grain so it will never wear away. Equipped with generous storage, it blends functional luxury with a beautiful cultural legacy.
